Happy New Year,
We are excited to share with you the great work the Foundation has been able to do during a year that looked different than expected. When the coronavirus hit Michigan in March, the Foundation staff quickly began accepting donations of PPE and meals to support our amazing healthcare staff.
With the help of this generous community, we were also able to raise over sixty-two thousand dollars to support our frontline staff here through the purchase of specialized PPE and equipment to aid in the battle against the virus.
While our events looked different this year, our donors pivoted with us to enjoy a virtual cocktail party, warmer socially-distant golf outing, to-go food with a streaming concert, and stories shared from our patients during the first-ever Day of Giving. We appreciate this community sticking with the Foundation this year and allowing us to continue to support the hospital and Campaign for Care.
